Foundation (2015-2016)

##Foundation for speedrun was kleinerfretzi's videos:

Wild Times (2002/14-2016)

##Of course, such contribution was not limited to just one person.

##Around this time or later Russian-speaking fans were also quite active in releasing their videos. Many of them repeated 'Fairygarden OoB', but some others investigate they own passage of stone near first cave or how to skip swirls in a forest ("Swirl skip") with fallen tree and how to beat nature fairys for fire card with Blumella only.

##But everything comes to an end. Wild times ends with the appearance of the first segmented speedrun: (by Primarch Raizel ♂️)

##It only remains to find out what else can be improved.

Construction (2017-2018)

##To that time, 'Pause glitch' (when you pressing F1 in battle faizys freezes but time still goes) 'F1 (in battle) glitch' become known in russian game-group, allowing you to win battle in any case. In combination with previously opened skips (and in particular: explored possibility to travel without fairy until reaching the 'Card of nature'), speedrunners came to pass the only remaining obstacle - Janus, blocking the path from almost beginning to the end of the game

##At this point Chagir ♂️ appears: first he learned about 'Pause glitch'; after that he made his own video for all skips that was found at that time, adding those that he found himself. And eventually he was able to jump over Janus, opening the way to a full-fledged single-segment speedrun! Which, however, was a bit long (about 10 minutes were spent on every fight and there also was some mistakes).

##But thanks to diligence and successful attempts to jump over Janus (after some incorrect approaches) -everything came together)

##Around the same time, game page on SRc was created, the first discord server with invitations of people involved at that time. As well as the first speedruns in Card (Nature)% category.

New beginning (2019)

##There was only two problems: passing Janus is still difficult to repeat and no one tried passing through the story using all other tricks.

##Fortunately, Chirou ♀ (which had the original German version of the game) deal with this by finding and using a skip (exclusive to this exact version) in the cloud realm:

Near past (2020)

##At start of the year runners improve their PB's, gradually creating competition around the first place.

Zanzarah Any% - PB 1:44:39 /especially Helco

(04/02/20) bunny-hop/diagonally runnig revolution ##this one led to a series of new sub 1:40:00 runs: (where Helco beat Chirou for the first time)

but (21/05/20) Helco once again beat Chirou by new WR: 1:27:26

and goes futher and futher

Guys, girls) hold your chairs! koz one sentence i wrote at the end of this guide turned out to be prophetic ##perhaps one day the story will take a turn and we will come back to the Janus skip, as we have already come to the swirl skip, thus improving the overall time of any% (24/05/20) "what am i doing with my life" (by Hoggin Dzero) We skip Yanus, horray! Noone was even thinking to beat Yanus once again but our hero did :)
