A Bomb or Berry Jump is used frequently throughout the run. They are performed by jumping and starting the buddy slam animation and getting knocked back mid-air to get on top of objects like fences. Note you can't be too close to what you're trying to get on top of, or you'll be knocked away from the object. The general method people use is to jump on the 22nd "beep" out of 25 total beeps the berry will make. Here's an example.

A Slope Roll is the other trick used frequently throughout the run. They can be performed in a number of different ways.

1. Rolling off of a raised platform to continue your roll up a slope. (Used when traversing from Lake to Beach)
2. Jumping, moving slightly toward the slope you are trying to roll up, and slamming at an angle to the wall. Then roll immediately afterwards to roll up the slope. (Used to access Shipwreck Creek/Beach early) Here's an example.
3. Wedging yourself between an object (like a box) and the slope, jumping, then rolling. (Only used on the slope directly west of the Lake Paywall.)

A Long Jump is the last trick that is used fairly frequently throughout the run. To perform one, start a roll, and jump very quickly afterwards. If done correctly, it will allow you to gain some extra height/distance on your jump. It is used for Desert OOB Jump, and Pipe-Man jumps. Here's an example.

(Make sure Ch. 3 warp is open from the fence and don't fall off.) • Enter and Complete Ch. 4-1, Frantic Fountains. • Enter and Complete Ch. 4-2, Frantic Fountains - Frozen. • Warp to Ch. 3.

• Enter and Complete Ch. 3-1, Wild Web Woods. • Enter and Complete Ch. 3-2, Wild Web Woods - Wilder. • Walk south along the fence to gain entrance to the cave without a bomb. • Collect the More Checkmates tonic. • Warp to Ch. 2.

• Enter the Southern Junction, hit the switch. • Collect the Spider-Cham tonic. • Exit the East Door and Purchase Woods Paywall. • Warp to Ch. 2.

• Enter and Complete Ch. 2-2, Factory Fright - Flooded. • Perform a slope roll into Shipwreck Creek. • Have Blasto Turn around and hit him to lower bridge. • Collect the Noir Film tonic on top of far right building. • Collect the Derorrim tonic inside the Noir Film tonic building. • Collect the Less Checkmates tonic under the ship. • Collect the GB Colours tonic on top of the ship. • Collect the TV Ration tonic behind Planker. • Collect the GB Resolution tonic on top of the towel rock. • Collect the Quill Magnet tonic. • Perform a slope roll next to Blasto to get over the fence. • Enter the "Frog Cave" west of Shipwreck and Collect the Dot Matrix tonic. • Warp to Ch. 3.

• Attempt the 5-S Skip from next to Planker. • Collect the Blockbuster Film tonic just below Planker to the South. • Water the Bounce Flower to the North. • Collect the Cinematic Ratio tonic in the corner of the path farther north. • Water the Bounce Flower to the East. • Water the Bomb Flower to the North-East of Ch. 5. • Enter and Complete Ch. 5-1, Gasping Glade. • Hit the nearby lever to unlock 5-2 later in the run. • (Perform the 5-S Skip from the eastern fence if not yet acquired.) • Enter and Complete Ch. 8-1, Windmill Way. • Collect the Vintage Film tonic on top of the North Western Fan. • Collect the Woods Overworld Bee. • Purchase the Northern Fan for 500 Quills. • Collect the Flower Hour tonic just south of where you got the fan. • Deliver the fan, then purchase the other to unlock 8-2. •Jump off the ch 8 lever onto the fan and head into the woods towards ch 7.

• Knock over the table North of Ch. 7. • Enter the East House. • Collect the Upside-Down tonic in the house. • Knock down the honey above Ch. 7. • Collect the 7-S Bee **using some oob movement. • Collect the Black & White Film tonic. • Enter and Complete Ch. 7-1, Production Path. • Enter and Complete Ch. 7-2, Production Path - Panic. • Collect the Shadow Stingdom tonic in the South of the woods by a quill crate. • Collect the Super Sonar tonic in the Chest (Key is in front of the chest) • Exit Woods to the West toward Desert.

• Enter and Complete Ch. 10-1 Ropeburn Ridge. • Collect the Res Resolution tonic West of the first Fire Berry. • Collect the VHS on the eastern wall, behind some bramble. • Collect the Res Colours on the high-ground in the north. • Hit the switch to unlock Ch. 10-2. • Enter and Complete Ch. 10-2 Ropeburn Ridge - Rerouted. • Warp to Ch. 9.
