No emulators are allowed. I'm no mod but presumably because load times for emulator may not be accurate.

It would be nice if there could at least be an emulator category. I still find it overly harsh to say that "yes, if you want to do a speedrun of game x, you must spend several hundreds of dollars to qualify for a time on any part of our leaderboard."

Well, if the problem is getting a video of the run is a problem (for example because you only own the game on 3DS), you might have noticed that some runs are referenced on leaderboard even though there is no video, so that's not a problem. However if it's because you don't own the game or the console and you only can run it on Dolphin then this gets problematic.

If you plan to run the game a lot and try to get oneof the best times, you will spend a pretty important amount of hours playing the game, and investing some money to get your game captured shouldn't be a problem (especially if you own the game on the Wii/WiiUVC ; getting a capture card for that is really really cheap nowadays) And if you want to run it maybe just once or twice for fun, just having the splits on the leaderboards would be enough.
