hey, im looking to run this game, is there a thread or guide for the basic tricks and stuff? if anyone could link me to one of those that would be very helpful! ill be submitting a run in the hopefully near future

Sort-of, I never bothered to create a video about on how to do certain tricks or anything of the sort since you end up learning in naturally after a few runs. But I did create a small guide about some of the basics and advanced stuff.
