Hello everyone. I have only recently got into playing Wave Race 64 for the first time on my Nintendo 64 (NTSC-US) and have had issues trying to save Time Trials for Normal on Sunny Beach on my System or memory card. I have times on both the Expert and Hard difficulties but have been unable to get a time to save either for fastest lap or 3 lap on Normal. Any and all information and advice on what I may be doing wrong would be much appreciative. I've enjoyed playing the game so far as well and it looks like the community around the game is quite active. That and all the videos of other players and advice that I've read in the Forum has been helpful so far. Thank You.

You may have your wave/lap settings set to a non-standard value. Go into Options, select Conditions (not sure of the name exactly, it should be the 3rd option from the top IIRC), and select Defaults. Try after doing that!

If this doesn't work: Can you point your phone at the TV for a few minutes and demonstrate what is happening? Your description makes enough sense, but I still want to see it. Might help.

Yes, this was very helpful! My settings for Waves was set to Wild on Normal on time trial. I appreciate the help much so meauxdal. I hadn't noticed that the waves were wild and thought that it was just the normal waves having not played the game that much so far. My times and speeds have drastically changed as well without all the Wild waves. Thank you.
