Basics: Every other cycle, the Mummy Dragon will be at the lowest position as it charges the player. Three attacks can be landed each cycle, with the dragon raising in the air slightly after each hit. At the height after three hits, a fireball spell can be used to achieve a fourth hit.

Cycle skips: Taking damage during the dragon's attack at the far left side of the screen can cause the dragon to start the next cycle lower than normal. This can be used to speed up the fight slightly. Arrows can be used at the far left side of the screen to skip the attack entirely. Fireballs can be used at the far left side of the screen to skip the attack entirely, and appear to be the most consistent way to lead to a favorable next cycle.
