Going by IGT instead of RTA

Could we time our runs by IGT from now on, it seems that Gzdoom is faster when going by RTA since it skips most of the load screens.

IMO the different source ports should be split up into their own leaderboards. Gzdoom is faster in general, and is missing a lot of quirks the original engine had. This is especially noticeable when getting 100%, as in the original game you could only push one secret wall at a time and had to wait for it to fully finish moving before you could push the next one.

As a 360 player I would support IGT for full episodes

For episode 1 to 6 seperatly IGT is the way and do the episode without dying to no reset timer and respawn nearer the end. ( its not the case with the All Episode Run for my opinion RTA should be the way to rank) .Obsidian Run didnt loose time even if he died in last chapter.. I have a question why run like Deluxe_ 3m59sec IGT as been verified when in reality it show 4m46sec In Game Total Time ?? The leaderboard is a real mess more i watch run and less sense it make. With all that said Rules need to be establish to remake a leaderboard that make sense. Thats my opinion.. sorry for my bad english

Whatever i ask to make some rule too on Wolfenstein 3D(snes) and i never get any answer and isubmit 8 run none been verified since 17 days it looks like nobody fucking care (or forum and run dont goes to moderator) . Those game need rule or guideline so runner can be rank properly. still sorry for my bad english

In DOSBox Wolf3D at least, IGT doesn't account for boss (or secret) levels.

Both EcWolf and Dosbox don't count the boss level or secret level for in game time
