A previous forum post said that emulators were banned, but it no longer says as such when submitting a run. Has that changed or are emulators still not a valid platform?

Emulators are allowed, they are just hidden from the leaderboard by default. This has been in effect since the beginning of 2020 but I may have deleted the forum post announcing it.
