First off thanks for making this page and having this game as a speedrun.

Why do you have to change the handicap to 36? I do not believe it changes anything. You cant change it in tournament play.Once staring a new player there handicap is 36 and changes to how good you play after playing more.For stroke play i have been turning it up.

Easy shot is an option you can turn on in game options. It makes the game faster and is close to a cheat. It tells you a range where to hit the button for how far your shot will go. It also does not have a downswing so you only hit the button twice. If this is allowed then there should be a different category. I have been doing all my runs with easy shot turned off.

It would also be cool to see a category to run all four rounds.

I was gonna try and contact one of the moderators about that same thing for tournament play. I am unsure how handicap affects anything. I have done a few test runs of tournament play myself. I'll have to try and find Easy Shot and see how that affects things. If Easy Swing is gonna make it super easy, maybe that should be disabled for speedruns in general or make it a separate category, although with no runs on the boards, I think it does not matter yet Brocis.

yes there should be a different category if people do runs at all or just ban. Easy shot can save time depending on the club as higher clubs come down quicker and low irons can be really slow.

I plan to submit a run to the boards and I'll tell peanutfan, whose discord I am in, that I submitted.

would 4 rounds be playing the Waialae Open? if that is the case, then I think that would be a good name for it. Otherwise, another name would probably be best.

Waialae Open category has been made. no rules yet but pretty much the same as the other 2. easy shot is allowed and handicap removed
