I don't think I have ever encountered a person with as little sense as Kromer in my entire life.

Well I mean the 'S&Q wr' is relevant, because changes may be made to the leaderboard because of it, and it's what everyone has been talking about, like have you been paying attention? The mobile wr is unimportant

Bristol, Englandm138 years ago

Why did you even bring up your mobile wr likes its relevant and or anybody cares? Just to brag or look edgy by saying 'I don't care about my world record speed run lol im epic'...

Imagine non-ironically being Kromer

Bristol, Englandm138 years ago

Kromer are you trying to make a point rn because it's as if you're just spouting shite

Bristol, Englandm138 years ago

Because a game doesnt have runners people shouldn't run them?

I may be wrong but I believe someone has a highlight doing this from a while back, still cool little thing to have happen

There isn't a Twinsanity discord but join this one if you wish, it is a Spyro and Crash discord, you can ask in the Crash room.

I understand wanting a tutorial for the category but it's really not necessary. As for the jungle rollers skip, there is a video which shows you how to do it. With great gate skip there is a newer setup (which I assume you know) which isn't too hard to replicate and there is a tutorial for that too. I think the point is fair though. As for people who you say 'people trying any% on EMU for a few weeks until they get sub 1 without zig-zagging and then quit', these people wouldn't be interested in learning 100% in most scenarios because if their only goal is sub 1 then they haven't got enough interest in this game.

As for 100% things you can use to refer to:

Jungle Rollers:

Great Gate:

Any other things you should be able to use a run for reference.

Well the main reason is that spyro 2 is a PS1 game, so the only accepted emulators are ones that emulate a playstation 1 console the best, the accepted emulators are the only ones that are known to be accurate and emulate a playstation the best. We are not looking for a 'PS1 FDS loads' emulator.

As ben said, it's very situational and makes the rest of the game harder.

Well you can still run on psxfin, they just won't accept your runs on the leaderboard

just a reminder this guy right here moderates a spyro game ^

Firstly there wouldn't be much point of NG+ as in the speed runs you gain the superflame ability through entering dragon shores anyway. People have done NG+ speed runs of the game, (example: ).

I think you should feel free to run it if you wish, I'm sure Jumpy or even other members of the community may be able to help if you need it. But as for the leaderboards there is slim to no chance of it being included.

Just to clarify, are you aware that ng+ in spyro 2 isn't running on a completed 100% file but is starting a new game with fireball after attaining fireball in another save.

There used to be IL times on these leaderboards but they were removed due to being underused and somewhat pointless as there are other time trial archives on the internet.

  1. Fighting Seto 2 and defeating him means that when you defeat all the mages you will be up against the final 6 instead of the final 7, final 7 being all of the final 6 + lab mage. This would effectively make the endgame easier.

  2. Easy mode is a term runners use to describe getting good rng whilst playing a high-tier opponent in the cards which he plays against you. For example if Seto 3 played a B.Skull that would be considered an 'easy mode'.

Also in the future, there is a thread for asking questions.

These leaderboards that you are speaking of can be found at http://ctr4ever.ovh.org/ .

They were never implemented on speedrun.com because there has been a huge archive for them for a long time.
