Im thinking about trying starting up this cateogry again. Must talk to all 8 interactable toads. With the timer ending on the first frame you grab the toad star in tippy. With any method to bypass any star door requirements allowed.

I think that makes the most sense, and removes all the ambiguity behind this. Yes it is a meme category, but I think a consistent ending benefits everybody.
