I don't have a clip unfortunately, but I lost a pretty solid run due to my cat jumping into the blinds of my office...
Dude I love that game! I had it for Gamecube though.
As for timing policy, are you the only runner? If so, then you set the policy. I would probably go with a system that excludes load times, since they can vary from system to system. If that means you have to manually time the loads in order to subtract them from the total time, then unfortunately that's something you would have to do :/. That's my best suggestion.
welcome! what game(s) do you run or have in mind to run?
Ok, so I've determined that you think you're much smarter than you actually are and won't talk to you anymore. Have a nice day friend.
If you insult people, they defend themselves. It's basic human reaction.
I think what Hdot is saying, is that you don't really have the authority to determine whether someone's life choices are bad or not. And I don't buy your comparison of speed running long games to tobacco/alcohol addiction... That's a bit extreme.
Is this related to this:
If so, awesome! If not, might want to think of a different title :/
As much as I respect ALL runners, I'm just not a fan of glitchy runs. I don't enjoy watching them, so I doubt I'd enjoy running them :/.
Just making sure I understand.. were you the first person to submit a run for that game? Or are you asking about games that aren't very active? For games that aren't very active, you can try and contact the mod via twitch/twitter/etc. For new games, you'll just have to wait until a site admin gets to it i think. When I first submitted Inside My Radio, it took a day or two for it to get accepted.
^didn't read the 'Too Long Didn't Read'?
Did someone say necro?!
Oh...not that kind of necro...
I need a new game to run. Here is a strawpoll with some options.
You should vote for Castle of Illusion because I've already played it and have done exactly 1 run of it. It's like 30 minutes off WR, but that's ok, because it can only get better from there!!
You should vote for Sonic 4 because the world needs more Sonic runners! I chose Episode II over Episode I because it looks closer to Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (my all time favorite game). Also, a big plus for me, is that it has just enough of the built in ridiculous speed of a Sonic game, but also just "slow" enough that it's not just a hold right and win type of game..
You should vote for Other only if you have another game to suggest :). I'm looking for a low-medium difficulty 2d platformer that is available on Steam.
TLDR; I can't pick between these two games, but I'm open to other suggestions.
I guess I can't judge since I've never run anything over an hour...
