The easiest way is to use the built in screen recorder. You could either time the run from the recording or have a timer open on a separate device.
I noticed that all the “arcade” runs are listed with the platform being Game Boy Advance, but I couldn’t find a GBA release of this game. Are the runs mislabeled, or is there some obscure GBA release that doesn’t show up on Google?

I think this is called “alt main pokes.” Samurott and Serperior already have categories, but there’s a forum thread where you can request any Pokémon.

A certain number of runs and a certain number of views don’t stop a game from being trivial.
Could we get leaderboards for either individual chapters, or the individual parts of chapters?
You can request for a game to be added, though considering that you described it as a “joke flash game,” it seems unlikely that it would be approved.
I just point my phone at the TV/Switch screen, or if it’s an IL less than 30 seconds I use the built-in screen recorder.
If you sit in a chair and set up your camera on a tripod to your side and behind you, you can hold your DS pretty much normally and still have it be visible.
