OK, so apparently this can be fixed by using an older version of the game (the third spindash button doesn't pause the game anymore). I'm using version 1.3.5. Is this allowed?
Like in Spring yard 1, you can hit the spring and when you land on the roof you just hold right and fly to the end.
I figured out the one jump method, but I don't know how to do the double jump method that takes you all the way to the end (the WR run uses this method). Thanks
I have the PC version and when I press A/B/C (don't know which one) it registers it but then opens the menu on like the next frame, pausing the game. The other 2 buttons work as intended. So I can only spindash with 2 keys. I tried to reassign one of the keys on my keyboard to another key with a third party program (sharpkeys), but it doesn't register consecutive inputs of the same key fast enough so it's basically the same.
I wanna run Tails in Sonic 1/2 and I think this hack is the only one that makes this possible.
OK, I see FlowTimer has global hotkeys.
OK, so pressing and holding the reset button gives a white screen and when I click start on the timer both the emulator and timer start at the same time. Is this allowed?
I only have 1 computer so I have to use it for both emulation and RNG manip. For Mudkip I can't reset the game and start the timer at the same time because only the window I'm currently on registers inputs, so I've been using an audio cue for both reset and choosing Mudkip (I wait for 19 beeps on a 600 millisecond interval since 11400/600=19). But obviously this is far less consistent. Any ideas to make this more consistent? Thanks.
