I have the game with Flashpoint, however it's an older version and doesn't have temple on haunted hill, is this still valid for runs? also is there a way to play the game without the browser in Resources

Am I allowed to press the "Escape" key when a character is speaking (I.E at the beginning of a level when Jim Raynor is explaining something) To skip their dialogue? I didn't see anywhere in the rules that said explicitly otherwise.
