There are no clear rule on when to start the timer. You both have different starts :/
Stadia is a linux based streamplay. So it would fall in the same category as PC.
I didn't see what the issue was. But I am just gonna guess, since its a common issue.
When submitting, make sure to put the time in " time w/o load" as that is what the leaderboard will sort from.

RestartLevel is ok changing FoV is fine, I guess.
But anything that makes it into a advantage is prohibited
Hi. I am only speaking for myself on this one, and not for the whole mod team. I am not gonna make a extended category for Hello Neighbor as there would be too many categories for me to handle, especially if we would allow modded categories.
However. If anyone else feel like they want one, feel free to request a leaderboard and make your rules. If you want to use the discord channel from this leaderboard, you are free to use it.

Hi! Feel free to join our Discord Server! :)
We get it. People has gotten a "speedrun" with the time around 0.9s. (Notice the quotation marks).
Listen, we at the mod team agrees that the method on the run to complete the game by pure RNG is stupid. There are no point in adding the runs or a specific category, since there are no skill play required.
We want to keep the categories to be fair and fun for everyone, and not by making everyone spam RestartLevel in their console (no movements required) and call that a "speedrun".

It's because it doesn't have a time w/o load yet. The rank system depends on it instead of time with loads.

@Habreno @Liv Looks like it has been a thing since the earliest days of the leaderboard. Audit log from the first encounter of rejection (because of no timer, even if there was no rule at that time against a timer) : 2016-11-12 16:00:54
I never understood why that rule was set. I've been accepting runs without timer anyways, even been taking my time to retime runs in Sony Vegas if I have seen anything too off.
I will take my time and retype the rules for each categories asap.
Hi, supermod from Hello Neighbor leaderboards here. This is regarding Awomeandy's post.
Ccrusher1's role was set by misstake by Andy, as he was messing around with the game settings. Cc's role was deleted by ShikenNuggets because of 10 months inactivity, but I gave him back verifier role as a temporarily test to see if he was gonna become active or not again.
Please change his role back to verifier and regarding Sgitch, he has been really sloppy with accepting runs. Doesn't look at the content, and accepts everything at this point, even if the run doesn't apply to the rules.

Since it's built with the eduke32 engine. There are not many things you can do other than the already existing categories you currently have up. :(
There are currently too many runs on Alpha 1. It doesn't really feel worth the effort tbh.
Tried updating your video drivers? Have you yet tried OBS?
If you're using AMD (GPU), use Software (x264) Encoder If you're using Nvidia (GPU), use their codecs if it's available. Ah, don't forget to change format to mp4 in OBS, that's the best results I've found.

Edit: After taking a look at the video. It looks like it's a bitrate issue. If there is any option in your recording software. I'd recommend you to set it above 2'000.

... what even is a "retry-skip"?
Also are there no discord for the runners?
Ye. I was playing around with that glitch about when A3 got released. If only there were a way to not get that stupid long slow camera animation when trying to get to the basement, that would be fantastic :P But in that time, I couldnt find anything :/
I don't really get why we even have "guides" to begin with. The Alpha builds are so easy to follow from any video of a speedrun. :P
Edit: Just gotta add that all the current accepted guides are poop. Potato microphones and potato video quality :(
Oh, sorry forgot to tell you that on his run, the timer starts on first frame of the video and not his movement
/cheers
