Germanyis there a reason for not having a public invite link in a sticky thread?
While messing around with Portal 2 I noticed that anything higher than 2x AA kills fps if looking at a portal while OBS is open. I also always open task manager and give hl2.exe a higher cpu priority. That pretty much fixed 99% of all fps drops I had.
This sadly is intended behaviour of OBS Studio. They dropped the feature to capture window borders (aka the full window) for Studio. You either have to live with monitor capture or switch to the (apparently worse) OBS classic.
livesplit switches back to realtime everytime you close your portal splits or change to splits that don't have automatic ingame time
By power limit I meant the electricity power limit not the computing "power" limit, but you actually right with saying that too. The CPU shouldn't be the issue, temp limit can't be it if you're getting higher temps on other workloads. I'm guessing your on mobile/laptop. If you get MSI's program Afterburner, you can check what the power limit is and how close to it you are getting. If it's not that, I actually don't know at all. It might be a weird quirk of the engine.
Did the card maybe reach its Power limit or Temp limit? What cpu do you have?
the funny thing is I'm totaly fine with my category being IL I remember seeing a leaderboard where someone had two times on the run if that is actually a thing, maybe we could set it up to have NG/NG+ options and DLC/noDLC options on one leaderboard.
So, there's Beat all campaigns. The question is, as DLC is not allowed, does this include the two DLC campaigns and the episode "Tomomo Hell"? And should there also be a category that does allow the DLC stuff, but requires also beating all DLC episodes.
I have also no idea what to call these categories. Either "Beat Base Campaigns" and "Beat All Campaigns" or keep the name as is and make the new one "Beat All Campaigns + DLC". There's also the option of just splitting BAC into two subcategories (Half-Life 2 has that, I think?) with "No DLC" and DLC. A similar thing could also be done for 200% and 300%, although I do not have a name idea for that.
Is NG+ allowed? if yes: start timing on chosing first episode? Is DLC allowed? DLC ILs? (Star Breaker, Sweet Breaker) Is Tomomo Hell required for the Extras IL? When does timing end? Is it required to play as QP in QP IL / Suguri in Suguri IL / and so on?
idk how law works outside of Germany, but if I compare it like this, the runs are all valid: Let's say it is currently legal to stream a copyrighted movie and I do so, then they change the law a week later, but I'm still clear, because when I streamed the movie, it was still legal.
Updates come when they are ready. Or maybe this change is the HL3 of updates, who knows.
The one in 13 definitely is possible without super object throw. Don't know about 12, never really tried that.
Does it mean all the maps in the game right now or all 22 launch tracks? If the first one, then the leaderboards would need to be reset everytime the game gets a new map, which would be pretty stupid
