Congrats to you on your run. But for me it is bitter sweet! I waited a month and had to get the site admins to make me a mod to get this game (revised) on here. and now I am 3rd!?!?
but I also want to thank you. for convincing me to run it more. I don't know if I can compete for the WR anymore, I was stuggling to get sub 45. but I enjoy it enough to keep trying.
I do have a question ( if you read this) you said that with the right angle you can jump over the gorged worm. do you have video of that? I tryed to do something like that for 30 min and concluded it couldn't happen. would love to be proved wrong!
also, does the wall jump not work on the switch, or does it not really save any time? (tut skip)

The gorged worm jump is pretty hard, but I've done it a few times. I'll try to get it on video in a bit.
also the tut skip is possible, but I find it a lot harder to do on the switch (including other tricks where you have to mash the jump button). To avoid endlessly resetting I chose to ignore it until later on.
Been trying for a little bit to get it on the steam version, I don't think it's possible (or like escape skip it's definitely a lot harder). I'll try to get video on the switch instead but it won't look as nice.
It only saves like 4 seconds overall so it's not a huge time save, but it's low risk so I'd say it's worth going for every run.
I swear it happened once but maybe I'm just talking out of my ass idk. I just can't replicate it again, video or not.
