I tried playing as Minion in Tournament (Hard). As it turns out, playing as Minion means you don't have to fight Minion in Amazonia. That's not super fair for the other characters who end up having that extra boss fight to deal with. I'm thinking we should not allow Minion to be played in the normal categories. Maybe we could make a category for Minion though. What do you guys think?
Yeah i agree. Having his own category would be cool though so it still gives players the option to play as him if they like and still be running a category. Also if there would be a cheat category i think that would be quite interesting as well.
As an incentive/reward, I'll make a category for Minion as soon as somebody submits a Hard run. I was going to do it anyway but this is more fun, plus it gives me time to work on the Small Brawl board.
Yeah, you can use a password to get back to a level after you've lost all your lives. That's what I do since I'm not as big of a badass as Aqualung over here. Just keep the timer running and it's fine.
Oh i thought it was all single segment runs, aka completing it without continues. Not sure if it would be wise or practical to make an entire section/categories for single segment as well as one for continues though unless we get more runners although i would be interested in that if we are using continues.
Medium is pretty hard to finish without a game over. I doubt I could do it. Using the password system allows people to finish runs. They won't be as fast as Aqua's obviously 'cause he never dies but such is life.
Medium difficulty should be able to be done without continues but i do agree that it can prove to be tough at times. Hard is rough though but i believe that i can get a hard run done with no continues.
