Japanese 100% update?

Hi everyone.

Roughly a month ago I gained an interest in speedrunning, and set doing TTYD's 100% run and streaming it in the future as a goal of mine. I haven't been able to get any real info on this, but I had heard from Almo very recently that the 100% route is possibly being further optimised for the japanese version. I have been putting in hours of practice already playing the english version, going by almo's google doc/vod which have been super helpful. I've been progressively playing through and memorising it for a little while now. Is that possibly a bad idea/somewhat a waste of time? I was wondering if anyone could inform me if the changes to the route using the japanese version will be considerably time-saving? Is there a way I can help with this if I acquired a japanese version? (or is there somewhere I can find info on this that I'm not finding)

Thanks in advance

The 100% category is basically getting a full reroute for the Japanese version. I wouldn't consider learning English 100% a waste of time, though. In fact, it's probably more of a head start. The transition shouldn't be too difficult after you learn some of the JP exclusive tricks.

(Also, the current 100% route's kind of unoptimal, even for English. Still doesn't mean using it's a bad thing.)
