Any% US/PAL Route (Peril Yoshi)
Updated 4 months ago by MuzYoshi

It's recommended that you enable debug mode by pressing X, B, R, B, Y, L on the title screen

Routed by: SolidifiedGaming, Vynneve, SwayNC, MuzYoshi, Zephiles, Sjorec, Glan

Note: Leave the memory card out to skip the autosave at the start of the game. There are no autosaves after this so you can put it in any time after the curtain pulls.

This is a significantly easier route then the optimal Peril Mario route (much less superguarding and no Charlieton farming), but is about 2.5 minutes slower than the ideal Peril Mario route. If you are new to the game, this route will be better.

[section=Prologue]

The other option is to go without the extra Fright Masks (you get 2 extra, 10 coins). Each encounter loses 5 coins, so one Fright Mask.

Note: Failing an Earth Tremor is generally the fastest way to fulfill “Use at least 1 special move.” Showstopper may come in handy sometimes though.

Note 2: Jumping while waiting for the guard delays him from entering the room. Try to avoid doing any actions during this time aside from equipping badges/changing partners.

Note 3: If you ever need more FP to help you out of a bad situation, you can use the Honey Syrup if you got it in Boggly Woods.

The condition is on the 4th textbox after signing up for a match

Ideally you want to reach Level 3 in Glitzville, but you don't want to leave with more than 5 Star Points. If you are underleveled, you will not have enough BP to equip Double Dip before Magnus 2.0; if you are overleveled, you will have to do a slightly riskier Bowser + Kammy fight.

Entering Westside Goods prevents this: ➢ Just leave if you don't need to buy anything ➢ If you obtained the extra coins, buy a Life Shroom ➢ If you still don't have full items, buy Dried Shrooms ➢ Lastly, if you bought more than 1 item, you need to re-enter the shop after leaving to prevent the crash

Go down to the sewers through the grate
