my longest finished run clocks in at 8h 29m and its my ape escape trilogy all monkeys run.

the longest a run has gotten is 17 hours and that was my first ocarina of time 100% run that i didnt finish.

if its freeware of course you can link it. though i personally wouldnt upload someone elses game to gamejolt, itchio or similiar because those are not for file sharing but for releasing games.

usually remapping is allowed as long as you dont have multiple buttons doing the same action (ex two buttons to shoot so that you can spam faster) but as said above, check the rules or ask the mods

you can use hitomi downloader to download from bilibili. it supports virtually everything you need and dont need.

for peoples experience on running the game on ps4 ask in their discord.

but for recording, the ps4 should have a way to stream straight from the system or record it for an hour at a time. the other option is to stream on your pc and get your ps4 onto the stream with a capture card (or just point a camera/phone at the tv)

i dont know of any existing programs but i tried making one like this myself of super mario kart using image recognition. the problem is the font of the timer is too confusing for the image recognition library. you could train it with the new font but that requires linux and i didnt bother

some games allow flash carts some dont. if you are a mod it might be a good idea to look into how accurate the carts are and youll have to be mindful of the fact that despite being on a real console, a flash cart would allow a runner to use a modified rom.

if a submission video has many minutes of nothing related to the run being submitted at the start i verify it like normal but will DM the runner to tell them to not do it in the future because its annoying and slows down verification progress. mentioning that "run starts at x:xx" in the run description is fine too.

videos up on a file sharing website i havent seen but i would probably reject it unless they can give me a proper reason for doing so. specifically if they uploaded it on google drive i must question why not just upload it to youtube? you use the same account for both.

im not exactly sure what you are asking and you should really ask in the re7 discord but assuming you are using an autosplitter. they arent made to split at certain splits. an auto splitter splits whenever a certain event happens no matter which split you are on.

lets say your splits are currently on level 4 and you beat level 7 the autosplitter was made to split for completing level 7 so it splits even though you are on the split for level 4.
