I'm going to close orders and issue final invoices on Thursday 26th (1 week from today) to make sure that everyone has time on Friday morning to pay before the deadline.
This is a good idea
The supplier can do a 3- 4- and 5-XL in a different style
It is 280gsm fabric (a bit thinner) and it won't have the lined hood.
Sizes below:
3XL 56" - 4XL 60" - 5XL 64"
I have added them to the order form. Same price :)
I'll ask the question
If anyone who's ordered so far hasn't received an invoice by now please check your spam box as they've all been sent out.
Well, we made 20 orders in a couple hours, so it's happening!! Still open to orders for another two weeks, make me proud :)
There is but editing is broken just now. It's https://imgur.com/a/th8fq
Chest sizes are listed in both inches and cm so should be easy to work out :)
Ok so we have a kinda first draft ish schedule but Edenal is going to burn out if he does every single run. Would love a couple more takers to come to the event and speedrun :)
First formal submission! I'm going to post these as we go without names attached.
To answer the indirect question, yes emotes that are already FFZ may be submitted, with the original author's permission.

Announcing the ESA subscriber emote contest
Traditionally, ESA has ended up filling it's subscriber emote slots with faces of regulars. Robo has had about six dedicated to him. They're kinda cool for a week then end up not being used for the rest of the year.
This year we want your help! We want to fill five emote slots with new and creative original emotes. There'll be a small voting group formed from event volunteers to select the ones we use during ESA2016!
Please consider the following things when you create your emote:
⚫ How does it relate to ESA? Please write a 1-sentence justification! ⚫ Everybody loves memes! ⚫ Is your emote usable outside of the ESA channel? There is space for both inside-joke emotes and emotes that hold widespread appeal ⚫ Combos are good ⚫ Nothing that can be used to say the stream is boring :o ESA is HOYPE at all times. ⚫ You must submit 3 version in the standard twitch resolutions of 28x28, 56x56 and 112x112. The 112x112 must not be a badly scaled version of the 28x28 ;) ⚫ It should look good on both light and dark twitch themes ⚫ We are not looking for emotes of attendees, but ones of particular quality may be considered
The only strict rules on submissions is that they must not contain content that infringes the copyright of others and must adhere to twitch terms of service. Go wild!
Submissions Please package your emote(s) in a zip or rar file and send them, along with a README file containing your name and justifications, to questions@europeanspeedsterassembly.com
Closing date is Sunday 22 May and the announcement will be made on Sunday 29 May.
By submitting you are agreeing that ESA can use your emotes as a subscriber perk on the ESA channel for an unlimited time. We might buy you a hotdog in return :)
If you have any questions please use this thread so answers are kept together! Planks, who is coordinating the contest, will check often. Honest ;)
Examples of justifications are shown below for the emotes we are keeping
https://static-cdn.jtvnw.net/emoticons/v1/55287/2.0 This is a drawing of the ESA squeaky pig that often appears on stream during ESA, it is fun and combos well with the big red button!
https://static-cdn.jtvnw.net/emoticons/v1/55285/2.0 The big red button is a HOYPE emote of the button runners press that can be spammed at the end of runs
https://static-cdn.jtvnw.net/emoticons/v1/55483/2.0 This is a drawing of Tompa, ESA's most enigmatic chat moderator, that can be used to say Hi! [It should be noted, we are not looking for more people emotes this year]
Yup, I've added a link in the OP
Asking a soft deadline of 21 May but there's wiggle room if anyone can't work out time off etc before then.

Dreamhack Summer Sat 18 June 2016 - Tues 21 June 2016 Speedrunning is returning to Dreamhack Summer in 2016 with a second Pre-ESA event! This marathon will be a hybrid live/online event with the opportunity for live runners to take part in races with online opponents and with scheduled online-only blocks to allow the speedrun attendees to experience the rest of Dreamhack to it's fullest!
Submissions Submissions are being taken via one of two google forms depending on the part of the marathon you want to take part in. There is no hard deadline for submission but we request you respect a soft deadline of 21 May, a month before the event. Late submissions may be accepted, but we'll be in the process of making a schedule.
As a rule of thumb, we are aiming for 16 hours of live runs each day, with 8 hours handled like an online marathon. Runs/races can be submitted up to 2 live players and 2 online players each.
Form 1 - Run submissions for live or live/online hybrid runs and races Form 2 - Run submissions for online-only runs and races Anyone who previously submitted via the spreadsheet has had their details moved to the new forms.
View submitted runs here Signup As with previous Dreamhack Speedrun marathons, we can cover your entry and mass housing costs if you are prepared to take full part in our event. Do not book a general admission ticket!
Please sign up using the speedrun.com signup link if you are planning on attending
There is a discord group for chat about the event, find the ESA Discord / Pre-ESA at Dreamhack group here.
Accomodation arrangements Plan to arrive as early as possible on Saturday 18 June. The stream will start in the afternoon on this day. Plan to depart around 12pm Tuesday 21 June. There is no activity on this day, only packing and cleaning.
Mass housing will be available on Saturday, Sunday and Monday only. If you need to arrive early or depart late you must book a hotel in or around Jonkoping. You should bring your own sleeping equipment, an airbed, pillow and sleeping bag are reccomended. Limited airbeds might be available to borrow by prior arrangement and on request.
Volunteers We will need some volunteers to help run the online portion of the event. See Edenal for details :)

__Mass housing - Fortnox Arena__: Mass housing will be held inside Fortnox Arena and will be open between the 23rd of July and closing noon on the 1st of August. One of the two big halls will be split off in half and one of these sections will be used for mass housing. Our estimates are that it should fit 125-150 attendees. There are plenty of showers and dressing rooms. We will likely be able provide at least 5 private showers and a number of communal showers.
If there’s demand, we will use one or two of the dressing rooms as designated sleeping areas for females. If you are interested in this, please contact flicky or Edenal.
Mass housing is available to book as an option when you sign up, and air beds are available to purchase together with your mass housing ticket for an additional 150 SEK (subject to booking deadline).

Some clarification has been sought on the rules for submitting races.
-
If you are submitting a race/relay/co-op run, please agree beforehand with each runner with whom you want to race and include this on the submission form.
-
If you do not say you are wanting to race a specific person, the assumption will be made you are submitting a solo run. If you say you're happy to 'race anyone' we'll just take your run to be a solo submission unless you clarify later.
-
If after you submit a run, you become aware of an additional person submitting who you wish to race against, please contact a member of the scheduling team who will edit your submission.
Hope this helps :)
