I tried to retime and it averaged to roughly 00:49.70ms. The main improving strat here is at roughly 0:21 seconds. I use the cannon to skip the pokey. Previously I was thought that taking damage from the pokey was preferable here. This will be WR by about one second if approved.

0:16 The beginning is pretty straightforward, I want to see if I can figure out how to not get caught on this ledge.

0:21 I wonder if there isn't a more consistent set up for pokey skip here. I did it once accidentally by jumping off a moving shell you can produce, but I haven't found a consistent set up, might be faster? And just after this there might be time in riding the slope a bit longer, as well as navigating the flying koopas over the ? boxes.
