Hello Everyone! Some runners have asked me about the idea of adding the JMP Hp3 handgun on Claire's scenario for Handgun Only. Before we make any decisions I wanna give people the chance to give there opinions about it.
Here's how the rules will show with the addiction of the JMP Hp3
"Beat the game with the use of Handguns ONLY
Leon -Matilda -M19 (2nd scenarios)
Claire -SLS60 -JMP Hp3 -Quickdraw Army (2nd scenario)
All other weapons are banned UNLESS it is the rocket to finish off the Tyrant in Leon's campaign. Use of Defense Items are banned."
Leon ends up with a 3 burst handgun. So i would think any handgun(not including dlc or unlimited handguns) should be fine with claire. Whatevers quicker.
Initially when i thought of handgun only runs there would be no upgrades before they became a thing.
Leons handgun becomes a beast. More powerful than the shotgun. Grenade launcher even. Would prefer the 3 burst to most weapons. While the sls is the last weapon i would choose to use from any other gun.
Making the handgun runs lopsided when comparing the 2 characters.
Technically the handgun Leon uses becomes a SBR with all its upgrades. Short barrel rifle to be technical. I don't think they want a handgun that always has focus shots. It would be nice though. Not sure if it should be allowed.
I wasn't around for the original discussions. Personally I think the .50 cal for Leon should be allowed since it is a handgun. I think any handgun that isn't bought or won should be allowed with all upgrades. Any handgun available in the game. Up to the runner to see if they want to "waste" time. My opinion.
the .50 cal on b side for Leon would be a game changer. It can be acquired quickly. I have tested it.
im not sure about the 50 cal...i guess it is a handgun. leon has such a powerful handgun already it was not really thought about....Claire on the other hand getting the police car hand gun still does not make her as strong as leons handgun
