So you finally want to beat the game you could never beat as a child, and thought you may as well be the fastest one to finish it now. Here is how to get started doing so:
First you want to memorize the sequence of missions until you really know it. You need to know exactly were to head next at any point in time and not have to rely on the objective to describe what you need to do.
After that you need some tricks to move faster than walking:
- Bubble glitch/running glitch arguably the most broken and powerful invention in the game, moving in this bubble alone will make you faster. But most of the time you want to do the following: Activate the bubble, move forward, then while still in the air press space to end the bubble. After this jimmy will run a whole lot faster the he usually does. You do that at any time you have access to the bubble and need to walk for a bit.
- Fast scooter In the begging and later in Retroland, you dont have access to the bubble, so you use the scooter. Here is how you do it: You press G to call Goddard behind you, then imminently after that press space to activate inventions and select scooter. This will make the scooter spawn right behind you, so you walk backwards a bit, then drive the scooter to your goal. This whole setup takes a while to execute and is only useful in a few spots, you dont need to learn it right away.
The last thing to learn are some individual level strats. You can see them in the current World record by sandmanfan, you want to try to mimic them. The run in generel is really good to learn all the strats you will use to beat it (hopefully)
