If you're aiming to set a good time on a Clear Level (1-6) run, it's important to not slow yourself down when doing so. Below are some tips for setting a low time;

Do: • Constantly make combos, even if it is only clusters of 3, the faster you are, the better. • Try to make combos at lower parts of the board, that way pieces that automatically drop may also make further combos without your input. • Try to resolve a bomb as fast as possible, that way you won't end up panicking or be overly distracted with it if something goes wrong. • Use the analogue stick to navigate, it moves your cursor faster than the D-Pad.

Do Not: • Don't try to make special pieces, such as stars and black pearls. The time and effort required for these will only slow down the amount of combos you make. • Don't worry about points, these have zero impact on the rate at which you progress through levels. • Try your best not to make large combos at the end of a level. This can drag on your time as you have to wait for them to stop dropping before the level will end.
