Hello, my name is FitterSpace. I'm requesting to be a super mod for the James Bond series. I am currently a normal moderator for the series but I would like to be a super mod. I had previously asked one of the series mods to make me a moderator, but I am only a regular moderator with no additional power. What they did to make up for that was to manually add me to every game series mods have power over. I'm not sure why i'm the only series mod to not be a super mod. I assume they can't make new super mods. I am requesting to be a super series mod for the James Bond series instead of being a normal moderator.
I'm requesting to be made a moderator for Dragon Spirit: The New Legend. I contacted the current moderator about a run I submitted three weeks ago. He has not been online for 22 days and I have attempted to contact him through twitch as well.
Reminder of the first post (or new people that haven't read it yet)~
Please keep in mind that using this thread is somewhat a last resort, in case the current moderators are not responding or refusing your help without justification. You should always start by asking the Super mods of a game/series as they are also able to add mods. Twitch messages to mods are probably best for now.
Moderator inactivity doesn't apply until around 3 weeks, depending on other circumstances, and it is expected that you try to contact them (exceptions may be made if they have been offline ~3+ months.)
( )
Bourne: Added due to inactivity and you have a run.
FitterSpace: They are able to add you as a super at their own discretion. The series has plenty of moderators as it is, so I don't see an inherent need for another.
Binarynova: Small game, Only 1 moderator, 3 weeks. Okay.
Can I have mod in Aladdin: Nasira's Revenge? The rules for the game are just bonkers. They banned an official version of the game as it is faster than emu which has (almost) the same loads. I already ranted about this in the game forum and a post here is necessary.
@mrmutantduck - Whilst it is an odd decision to ban a version of the game you should give them due time to respond to you on the forums. Not everyone can be online everyday, and even when they are on they may not check the forums of the games they moderate.
I have made a short post in the topic you made, telling them about having sub-categories for the runs so that they can be inclusive rather than exclusive.
Requesting super mod for: Awesomenauts
Reason: Inactive mod (2 months) and not responding when comment got posted on his run on youtube. Two people waiting for confirmation as far as I know.
mrmutantduck: Subcategories or adding a separate game for PC are both good options. Banning is stupid I agree, but try to sort out out with the current moderators first, maybe they just aren't well aware of their options.
TenLexI: Added
I've taken care of the Aladdin: Nasira's Revenge situation.
I plan on removing myself from mod for that (and many other games with the new series mod changes) but I'll leave myself on it to make sure there's a neutral party for the time being.
I'm requesting to be a moderator for the game crimson room for the Nintendo DS. http://www.speedrun.com/Crimson_Room There is only one admin who has been inactive for 5-6 months, I also have 3 runs for the game that need to be accepted. I use this website daily so I'll be able to monitor it daily.
The Super Mod of Wallace and Gromit Curse of the Were-Rabbit has no intention of doing anything with the leaderboards, and i cant get in touch with him to do anything, so I'm requesting to become Super Mod. http://www.speedrun.com/wagcotwr Wouldn't be a big deal if there were other mods, but it's just me and him
I am requesting becoming moderator of the game Doors, the current mod hasn't been active in 25 days and I have attempted contact on Twitch to no avail.
@Koalarific - Although the thread says 3 weeks, it is also expected that you try all contact methods to contact the mod. The mod is VERY active on twitter, their last post being ~30mins ago from this post, and depending on how you messaged them on Twitch, may not be an overall good way to try and contact them.
@Ditch_eVo - Only the site admins can make you a mod of the game, and just like you and I, they have lives to live too. Be patient, someone will deal with it soon.
Ditch_eVo: Added. I don't refresh this thread daily or I'd probably lose my mind.
Nostalgia64: Eh there's really no reason not to promote you in this specific case.
Koalarific: The run has been awaiting verification a long time, so this is fine.
scrubjr: Because people get really salty when we add games and they have their own leaderboards. I have multiple opinions about this that I don't wish to clutter this thread with.
Kirkq: no worries! I'm just impatient sorry, thanks for helping me out!
