I am not currently a runner of this game, but recently became interested in the idea. However, there are a few things that I don't understand and can't find info on. What makes xbox the fastest console? Just load times, or are there exclusive exploits? Additionally, why are emulators rejected past a certain speed? Sorry if this thread breaks any etiquette or anything I am very new.

Xbox is the fastest due to load times there are no console specific tricks that differ iirc. However, there are consistency issues for some tricks that aren't used/useful in the current route that differ between consoles, but you won't have to worry about that. Due to broken loads which emu has the capability to have there is a cut of time for it, plus it's not original hardware which a lot of games don't allow past a certain point (there may be more reasons that I'm not thinking of.)
