Hi, I was speedrunning isaac when happened this to me:
As you can see I was against BlueBaby and once I have killed it the portal immediately took me to the void.
What do you think? Is that legit or not? I think this can happen to anyone and it should be legit but we're a community so we all have to decide it together.
"Finishing" the game this way is not legitimate under the current rules.
I do think that they will fix this issue for everyone in a future patch. And as an aside, I've actually fixed the bug already in the Afterbirth+ Jud6s Mod. =p
But in the meantime while we wait for a patch, there's no need to change the rules, because you can easily escape the portal by using save and quit. (It is very similar to my S+Q cutscene skip strat in that the menu doesn't appear.)

It also seem to be unavoidable and the chest appeared. Also Save and Quit wasnt known by everybody
I still see this as a valid run because you satisfied all requirements for the run and didn't react in the couple of seconds when it happens.
I dont see any reason to invalid this run, void portals are really stupid and you cant react always when you are finishin bb with sac dagger or an orbital
https://gfycat.com/CreativeNimbleAmericangoldfinch You can s&q like this, and I believe there is enough time to react and avoid teleport but since your portal appeared after blue baby fight, I think it's ok for run to be valid because you cleared blue baby. Only difference is that instead of jumping into chest you jumped into trapdoor into next floor but both of them "end" floor, therafore I think run should be valid.
this can't be count as a clear since the rules are "Beat The Chest and enter the chest that drops after the boss", also I think void is same as an enemy so it should'nt count anyway.
If that's the case Cyber_1, then you should just clear Mega Satan, because he drops a chest now as well. So you can "Beat The Chest and enter the chest that drops after the boss" according to the rules. Get a curse of the lost? Easy, just clear Mega Satan. The problem with the way the rules are worded right now allows for this because Afterbirth+ introduced the chest drop into Mega Satan fight as long as you have achievements enabled.
Than I would suggest changing the rules to "kill blue baby in The Chest floor and enter the chest that drops after killing him".
It looks like Void Portals were changed during the patch today. Can anyone confirm that it is still possible to get instantly sucked into them?
