I mean SRL still is the most popular and easiest way to organize large scale races. Until a discord bot integrated with Livesplit or some other timer is definitively finished (ZSR is working on one and has it ready for testing) then SRL is really the only option. |

if youre planning to do a second tournament, more pc games would probably get you more participant. I'm sure a lots of user out there love the concept but doesn't like emulator / console gaming that much |

we do incorporate voting systems into our races (which we hold a new race every week) and we have PC games in the pool, but we do try to keep it to games anyone can have access to, so normally free games or emulated games. but there are PC games in the mix for people to vote for. (also, your picture and name are SUUUPPPPPPEEERRRR) |

We got so far 4 system categories. When we got a bigger suggested game pool, we will split these. We do short to medium length races so people have time to learn the game, even those like me who only got an average of 30min free time a day. Current system categories: |

I really like the idea. And I would actually just love to join. There is a rather big problem. It requires speedrunslive. In order to register for Speed Runs Live. You have to register through irc. Which I have tried on several occasions, I have asked for help. But its a little too much, and its the most frustrating thing about this community. I'm in Japan, no one uses it here, and when I ask for help in the irc chat no one responds. I tried to read the faqs, i waited for a week... nothing. It's easily been the most frustrating thing since I joined. I realize this is not your fault, but especially for foreigner who dont use irc, its that much harder to participate. Maybe if that were somehow to get resolved, you might have an extra person to participate. Or if it does not require then that is good too. |
