The run videos I submitted were not videos to be played during the event as I was under the impression that I'd be doing it live.

Not the organiser but I can definitely tell you runs will be done live.

The runs will be done live, but you still should submit a video with a voice over or live commentary, because at the event you will need to provide live commentary aswell.
