After years and years speedrunning The Swindle, and just trying to vibe-out what the routing should look like... I finally properly routed the run. And I mean: I math'd it. Spreadsheet style!

On my first session using this new routing, I saved 7 minutes over my PB, claiming a 45 minute clear. Three more sessions and I've now got 2nd rank with a 42m PB. Sub-40 and even mid-30 is just a matter of grind -- with this routing.

So now that I've got the time and rank I was aiming for, I'm sharing it (spreadsheet, splits files, and all) with the community. Depending on your play-style you can easily adapt the purchase routing to taste. Or just modify it to demand more luck... But what I've routed here is based on the averages and should prove viable a lot of the time. (provided you can get out of The Slums without an underground computer forcing a reset)

Review the spreadsheet for the details. But here's a written description of the route:

1. The Slums (~5 minutes)

• Ghost the first level and exit to buy Hack Skill 1 and Movement Speed.
• Then clear 5 more SUCCESSFUL heists. (6 total; +80% loot each; =2.2x XP bonus)
• Buy Hack Skill 2 and Jump 1 as you exit.

2. Warehouse District (~5 minutes)

• Grab 1 quick PC from the first level and exit to buy Bombs 1, Walls 1, and Bionic Eyes 1
• Then 2 SUCCESSFUL heists (2.6x XP), hacking 6 PCs total, buys Steam Purge 1 and exits.
• (keep €3k+ in bank for next area)

3. New Belgravia (~10 minutes)

• Entering with €3k+, grab 1 quick PC and exit to buy Computer Goggles and Hack Aptitude 1.
• Then do one SUCCESSFUL heist and exit to buy Hack Aptitude 2 & 3.
• One more SUCCESSFUL heist (7 computers in this area) exits with 3x XP and +75% PC bonus.

4. Casino Town (~10 minutes)

• Grab 1 quick PC and exit to buy Hack Skill 3, Security Locator, and Bomb Rig Speed.
• Do one SUCCESSFUL heist and exit to buy Remote Det 2 and Melee 1.
• Grab one more quick PC to exit.

5. The Banks (~5 minutes)

• Grab 3 PCs and exit with a total bank of at least €910,000 to afford the following:
• The exit to The Swindle, Bombs 2 & 3, Bomb Strength, Jump 2, Stealth, EMP, Auto Purge, Pod Purge, Purge Recharge 1, and Purge Duration 2.

This routing can easily have you entering the final level in 35 minutes, carrying the tools to let you clear it in under 10. And when the RnG is good and you're playing well, there's another 10 minutes to be saved.

Anything better will require grinding through even more forced resets than this run already demands, seeking that low% LUCK. And at that point, I'm not sure the term "routing" still applies. ;)
