Actually I don't know when my mod ban appeal will be handled under current uncompleted mod unban system until site staff provide a clear standard.

Elo doesn’t respond to almost all emails they get, so your appeal will most likely will never be seen.

This absolutely needs to happen at some point. A proper appeal system would eliminate the maze that is the current ban appeal system.

But now, site moderators keep telling me to email to support email to appeal the mod ban. Does it mean the site moderators do not want me to get mod unbanned at all?

@ReverseReverse They said on page two that there are a number of leaderboards where nobody else is willing to be mod.

While I can't deny that 900k users is a sizeable amount the number of users shouldn't be an excuse for them not having a large enough team to handle the site and the community's feedback. There are only 5 accounts on the entire site with the site staff badge (1 of which being an alt), and even if I give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that there's more people than just these 4 people working behind the scenes I doubt there are a lot more people working at src behind the scenes. I work with people that run smaller websites than speedrun.com but have a way larger team, usually consisting of at least 15 people, and I also work with people that run websites with millions of active users on a monthly basis which also have a sizeable team.
Yes, you can't expect them to be available at all times, which is exactly why they need more mods or volunteers. That way it becomes increasingly more likely for someone to be available for you and all other users that might need help.

So actually for elo,

maybe they think the site only has to be able to help elo to get money. They may not think listening to the community's opinion is needed.

Do you remember? Elo is mainly an advertising company. Cry for it

While elo don't listen to the community's opinion, the site still can function and earn money for elo by advertising.

Them only wanting to make money would kind of imply they'd be fine with volunteer positions, though. Less people to pay.
