- Requests for new series should go through the game request form even if some games already exist. Please do not request a series for existing games that you don't moderate any of. This thread is primarily for attaching games to a series that already exists.
- Game tags generally include things like rom hack, fangame, etc. This particular set of tags can only be applied by a full mod or admin.
- For suggestions for new game tag types for the site, please put them in the update thread We'll likely add items to the list after some additional input.

The game tags just went live (see the separate update thread here), and with it games can be in multiple series, and can have game types to replace previous rom hack functionality.

I moderate the WarioWare games, and I think it would be good if they had a separate series. I mean, they can still be in the Wario series as well, but having a separate series would make sense, since they're not really "main" Wario games.

IIRC, it used to be separate, but I guess the Wario series mods decided they didn't want it separate or something.

If they have the site structured like I think they do, they can re-add the WarioWare series. The games in the series could follow under both.

Not sure if this is the thread to ask but it does pertain to series things. Is there a way to REMOVE a game from affiliation of a series? There's a few games in one of the series that I moderate that I feel it doesn't belong there at all due to the type of games they are.

Forstride: Adding Warioware series because it seems to make sense.

Token: Just ask, instead of asking to ask. =P In terms of mobile and flash games and things of that nature, I have mixed opinions about adding vs not adding them to series, I don't really have a good feel for what the policy/expectation should be.

Hmm, it seems that the games use the Wario series theme by default (Which, in this case, doesn't have any kind of design). Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but would it be possible to add in a way to select which parent series the game uses for its theme?

Do themes even inherit any more, or were they just copied over once with the new system? It may have been written such that it inherits once on game creation if it was through the series.

I am one of the Super Mods on the Nitrome series. Would this move give me Super Mod status on all these games? If not, would I have to request Super Mod from the existing owners of Ditto, Fault Line, etc?

If nobody has done speedruns for these games there is no point in adding them yet.

Having games with no runs has its pros and cons. If a game has no run and someone searches for it, there may be motivation to do a run since there's no competition; it lets people know the game can be ran. That, and it lets there be a forum for discussing the game. However, run-less games would clutter the site and possibly bog the database down.

That's why I delete games that don't even have a category set up 2 weeks after their creation.

If the moderator(s) aren't even willing to put forth the effort into making a category, then they probably shouldn't have been made moderator(s) in the first place. Removing the game in that case is completely justified.

I'll do some speedruns of game i've mentionned in last post, I'll do Warriors orochi 3 Any% & 100%, Dynasty Warriors 8 All character in Ambition Mode & Any% Ambition Mode, & Inazuma eleven strikers any% & 100%

Then there is no need to add all games. Just request those you want to run once you have a run to show.

Oh ok so i would run inazuma eleven striker, Warriors orochi 3 & Dynasty Warriors 8 (i have found some speedrun attempts & speedrun clear of those games (but i've didn't find inazuma eleven strikers attempts)

For Warriors orochi 3 (& 3 Hyper/Ultimate) : (in the vids, there is only 1 battle on chaos but in the run we do all chaos battle)
