As of right now you can only follow games, I'd like to be able to follow my friends to get notified when they submit a new run or hit a new PB/WR.

@MelonSlice I assume it wouldn't be too hard, i think you can copy a decent bit of the code from following games.

It would be also nice if you could follow series, marathons and teams as well

This has been suggested in the past, and as far as I know it's on the to-do list, as well as following series. Following marathons as @BillyClem98 suggested would also be useful (though I'm not sure what you mean by "teams").
