Category Extensions for The Baby In Yellow have been accepted, these categories will be moved accordingly INCLUDING everyone's runs: GMTK Jam 2020 Exorcise/Pacify The Baby Oven% Radio% Toilet% Collectibles% Dunk% Slam Dunk% Ultimate Slam Dunk% Attic% Black Cat% Bedtime Story Bad Person% Shoot The Baby%

These categories will have their name changed: 'Goodnight' End Screen will be changed to Apartment% Full Game will be changed to Any% White Rabbit Content will be changed to White Rabbit% Dunk, Slam Dunk, and Ultimate Slam Dunk will be shoved into one category along with being changed to Hoop%

These categories will stay on the main boards: Apartment Any% ('Goodnight' End Screen) Any% (Full Game) 100% White Rabbit% (White Rabbit Content)

These categories will be moved to Individual Levels: 1st Night The Exit Pickman's Madness

These categories will be removed: Doctors Gift% Eye% Cat%

Our moderators appreciate the dedication that has been put into this small, indie horror game, and we wish to see it grow even more in the upcoming future.

These changes will take a while, a few days at the most.

We are going to be saying goodbye to @joedy and @LunarEclypse today. They haven't been active for months and haven't contributed in that time. I will be removing them from the moderator list. Thank you for your service, you guys!

Hello Everyone!

I'm gonna keep this News Post quick and simple!

There is a chance that the leaderboard will be reworked entirely. Category names will be changed, there might be a Category Extension leaderboard, and 1st Night, Pickman's Madness, and The Exit will be moved into ILs.

This is only something that MIGHT happen. I'm doing this because of the new update that's coming out I believe in May. This way it'll keep things organized and stress free.

Unlike last time, all of your runs will NOT be rejected. They'll simply be moved accordingly.

Again, this might not happen, it's just an idea.

Hello runners!

Let's keep this short and simple.

I quit.

I don't find interest in the game anymore. I don't find interest in running the game. My main interest is speedrunning Super Mario Odyssey.

I have runs dating back to July that I haven't accepted/denied yet because of how inactive the game is.

It's been real. I would consider myself a, 'king putting the crown down'.

I have many records, and I hope some of you beat them.

Hey ya'll! Its me, I promise i'll get back to moderating runs right after this. But I do need to establish something.

Why Is The TItle Screen Required?

It's pretty simple actually. It prevents cheating. Basically, "cheating" would mean moving before the run starts to gain an unfair advantage. This is why title screen is required. It just helps moderators make sure no one is cheating so everyone can enjoy The Baby In Yellow.

I'm writing to inform you about a few updates happening to The Baby In Yellow Speedrun page.

[NEW CATEGORIES]

New categories for The Baby In Yellow: Bedtime Stories update have been added in preparation for the new update.

These categories will not be achievable until the update on June 3rd.

There are no new levels, but the house has been updated and there are a lot more quests to achieve, and the levels are much higher quality, finally on par with the White Rabbit content released in December of 2021.

Previous Nights 1-3 runs will no longer be valid as the entire thing has been reworked, meaning longer nights. So, as expected, it wouldn't be fair to keep the previous WR runs at the top of the leaderboard.

[PAGE MODERATION AND RUN VERIFICATIONS]

As of recent, a lot of our moderators for the page have not been as active as expected, and I would like to change that.

After June 3rd, all runs should be expected to be reviewed and verified within 24-48 hours of being submitted. If your runs have not been reviewed after this specific time frame, please make sure to contact me on Discord (Waviny#7005), Twitter (@shnkz), or Email (eclypsegamesbusiness@gmail.com).

We forgor about the page but we came back as there is a major update coming () also we saw people are running the game up again so more categories are gonna be added and the layout of the page will probably change. U a real one if u waited 3 months for your run verified. Also more guides coming bc the strats have evolved.
