Sometimes the Temple can generate in an unfavorable way, and it can take a full minute just to mine over to the entrance. In non-NMA categories, it may just be quicker to hoik inside to kill Golem. So far two methods of hoiking through solid blocks have been discovered. The simplest one is the horizontal hoik. Simply set up the configuration in the picture below, hold down as you walk through the platform, and you'll go right into the wall. Continue to hammer every other block as seen in the picture below, and you'll soon be out on the other side. This one is reusable. The upwards hoik is slightly more complicated, and can only be used once. First, you need to set up the configuration as shown in the picture. Unlike the horizontal hoik, this one HAS to be facing the direction as seen in the picture. It is still technically possible to vertically hoik if you made the platforms the wrong way, but spare yourself the pain and just build them as seen in the picture. Then, step into the three platforms, and hammer the top one. This will send you into the first two blocks. Then, you need to hammer the sloped tiles once, making them into full blocks, in order to propel you up. To go through more than a few blocks, you need to hammer the next tile in the sequence that is above your head into the correct shape, then hammer the sloped tile that is inside your player once, then hammer the next one above your head, then the one inside your player, etc. It's slower than the horizontal hoik, but it can be quicker than going all the way around to the side, if the side is blocked off by layers of mud.
