Recently, we've had a number of submissions for the Win Super Bowl Category that have modified the CPU teams' rosters. This is not technically against the rules as listed now, but at some point (through various changes of hands this board has had) the rules were changed to allow for this. Rather than revert the rules to some older ruleset that may have banned this, the mod team has decided to create sub-categories for these runs: Default and Modified. When submitting a run now, it will ask you to pick between these two playstyles.

Further, the rules for the Win Super Bowl% Category have had the following line added: "If any edits are made to any team other than the MAN team, the run should be submitted as "Modified"."

This appears to be in line with the way the rules used to be set for the game without penalizing anybody new who has run it or might want to run it under the more expanded rules. We apologize for any delay or confusion caused while we have been sorting this out. In the future, we may consider expanding the Default/Modified designation to more categories if it is deemed necessary.
