Thread: Individual Track Leaderboard?

I think maybe the licence tests should be on here at least, considering most of the other GTs have them - no messing around with endless categories for performance levels there

Unlikely to get a reply from him unfortunately, considering hes been offline for nearly a year LUL. I think he might have just used some generic icons that look sort of the right style

You don't know the half of it - literally Kappa

Shameless plug I know, but we had 8 people running it at once - got to be a record for the most people playing it since 2005 ish LUL. Unfortunately, most of them haven't submitted the runs, however (at least for 1 or 2 people, plus maybe me) there will be more runs coming, I know that at least.

Anyway, thanks for having a read, although I don't think I can help much having not done a run myself

This looks like they've just set up virtual machines and configured them to have the same specs as various systems - I feel like this might end up making the game run more like the PS1 version, negating the advantage the PC version has of ultra fast loads on modern hardware. That's my take anyway, but I'll still try it out at some point

Yeah I also have the book, so different sections would be needed, else everything would be dominated by the F1 car and modified LeMans stuff as it is in the book leaderboards

Yeah I'd agree with that, I'm suprised the rules didnt say segments were allowed as that had been discussed in the discord as one way to categorise it. Not that I'd actually do a run like this anyway LUL

Hey, https://www.speedrun.com/auto_modellista/

Only one moderator and he hasnt been online since mid 2019, the other player seems to be active. Looking at running this, but not before either the mod comes back online, or you can change the other player to be mod. Thanks, Thomas

Hey, with the whole quarantine lockdown going on in the UK at the moment, I'm looking at running this on my PS2, so a couple things

Firstly, whats happening about IGT? If it gets added, I'll be happy to retime, and B
I'll have to warn you and say that my capture may end up looking terrible, the last time I used it I semi broke it so it'll either come out a little soft, or completely ruined.

Thanks for reading

All of the times are way longer than they should be, they seem to be from clicking go to seeing the end screen, rather than from control to end. I see some mention of rule changes about timing, I guess these are victims? For example, his Expert Pursuit is 57 sec when it should be 46

Hey, is this still a thing then? Just saw your comment on RBR, I've never tried speedrunning any Mcrae games but I just got 3/04 on PC, so I'd consider doing a short run, maybe sub 30 mins

yeah i think it makes sense the way it is, and as several runs have been done using already gold-ed missions it would seem pointless to change rules about skipping the prize cars. That is, unless you want to make everyone redo it

Thanks for clarifying, is there any way of cheating the game to get all golds etc without having to drive each route to perfection to save time, or do I just have to do it myself?
