Have you downloaded a Windows 10 compatible version of Python? If you've just upgraded your old one might not work.

Actually I found a solution today by adding magical properties in registry editor.

Can you explain what you did to fix it? I can't get mine working on windows 10.

Sure, go to RegEdit and find
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Python.File\shellex\DropHandler
And change default value to {86C86720-42A0-1069-A2E8-08002B30309D}

Restart PC and it should work.
