The Two Universal 100% Run Routes
Updated 4 years ago by Gamedraco

While there have been several guides on the 100% Run, there are two 100% routes at a beginner and intermediate level that work so well both Upgrade and No Upgrade, Skip and No Skip, and PC and N64, that they might as well be the runs that start players off.

The two universal routes are here:

Universal Beginner Route: Ebe Endocott Sunken City, Bullseye Navoir for every other track in the game. When it comes to beginner routes, nothing tops the reliability and ease of use of Bullseye Navoir, and you can literally unlock him on the very first track of the Semi Pro Circuit in Sunken City. Once Unlocking Bullseye Navoir, you should either detour to the Amateur Circuit to build your chops, or faster but slightly more difficult continue the rest of the Semi-Pro Circuit, then decide one whether go to the Amateur Circuit, Galactic Circuit, or put Abyss out of the way as soon as possible. Ideally you should get Abyss out of the way as fast as possible as it is by far the most difficult track in a no skip run, and the ultimate speedrun trap in the game. With Upgrade Runs, it is probably most effective to run Semi-Pro, Abyss than the Galactic Circuit with pure Bullseye as they offer significantly more prize money to afford high level part upgrades from the Junkyard. With No Upgrade runs, there is a bit more freedom, but the route that requires the least amount of menuing involves completing the Semi-Pro Circuit after unlocking Bullseye when you are already on it.

Universal Intermediate Route: Ebe Endocott Sunken City, Bullseye Navoir Amateur Circuit, Mars Guo Rest of Semi-Pro, Abyss, Galactic Circuit, and Inferno, Ben Quadinaros Gauntlet and Ando Prime Centrum. This intermediate route has an excellent blend of speed, reliability, and consistency by using the 3 pods that are the most optimal for speedrunning with upgrades, and the most consistent without upgrades in Bullseye Navoir, Mars Guo, and Ben Quadinaros. Without upgrades, you only need to switch 3 times during the run. (Bullseye after Sunken City, Mars Guo after Spice Mine Run, and Ben Quadinaros after Inferno) With upgrades, the pattern is the same apart from switching briefly back to Bullseye Navoir on the Galactic Circuit for Grabvine Gateway and Fire Mountain Rally when Bullseye is the fastest pod on both tracks with upgrades. The goal of the route is to unlock Bullseye and especially Mars Guo as fast as possible. Mars Guo has by far the best blend of speed and consistency for the 100% run both with and without upgrades, skip and no skip, and PC and N64. Mars Guo is exceptionally integral in skip runs when he is the most reliable at pulling off all skips but the Bumpy's Skip.
