Illinois, USAok so i couldnt get the wii vc inject to work, mostly cause i couldnt rip my disc completely. it kept showing up as two different isos that were corrupted. so i ended up just buying it off the eshop cause of convenience. i actually lost a 48:27 to the final boss last night unfortunately

wait that just made me realize something
the reason why pctrax's run is slightly faster compared to yours and ella's run despite him losing like 42 seconds in resets is because of the wii u vc loads! the loads save enough time to be slightly faster than wii because of the 2-3 seconds gained back from every load!
and thats why the run i was did was like a 50 despite having minmal mistakes, because i was losing 42s from resets on top of having slow loads

basically everything above pctrax's run should be rejected. eurobean used a usb loader, and second and third also use a emulator, which dramatically speeds up loads. ive tried contacting fourth about if they used usb loader or not, but they haven't responded to anything ive messaged them at all and it's pretty apparent they also used it. while loads are generally inconsistent, emulator and usb loader are known for being banned in a shit ton of games due to how inconsistent and unfairly fast they are. generally the boards are not in the greatest shape due to shasta and vlack both not realy being too responsive generally about the boards, which i dont blame them for because they're interactive in a shit ton of other communities.
i think generally it would just be better to just remove emulator and usb loader runs outright. the only releases that should be allowed are the physical disc and the wii u vc release since they're official releases. i was actually skeptical of pctrax at first because when i timed my physical disc compared to his loads i was losing around a minute. i asked him on twitter the other day and he said he used the wii u vc release for it.
there is actually another option which i need to test. if you inject smooth moves as a wii vc title, would it act the same as the eshop release? when i get home in around 4/5 hrs im gonna try to rip the iso from my disc and inject it as a wii vc title to see if it will run on the same fast emulation as the eshop release
