That is the problem of the any% category. There is already an existing leaderboard on http://forums.mcleodgaming.com/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=39284 , hosting another one here doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

I'll talk to them about it before I do anything maybe we could move everything here which would actually be cool

I really thought this game wasn't on speedrun.com before now :o If I was the only mod I'd have removed the btt any% categories (pointless since there are leaderboards on the official forums http://forums.mcleodgaming.com/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=39284 ), and moved the BtT all chars categories to the full game leaderboards.

I don't know what happened to the old page then.

The level leaderboards has Break the Targets categories. It requires beating the Break the Target level once with any character; however, it doesn't make a lot of sense to get a category like that, there are already leaderboards for each single character on mcleodgamingforums.com .

A "beat the level 1 with every character" category would make way more sense.

BoB, SL, SSL, WDW are possible, HMC & TTM are impossible. I dunno about the others.

Hazy Maze Cave is impossible, Tall Tall Mountain is likely impossible but we might find a solution one day ? It would use weird bird strats though. I think that's it.

Why isn't it allowed to switch characters during a run by the way?

Well we discussed within the community and we agreed on changing the name to 33 stars instead of any% NMS.

This leaderboard is following the guidelines of the Mario Sunshine leaderboard, with 10 stars being 20 shines. Any discussion is appreciated though.

There's a "Route" variable which is supposed to show which route has been used to complete the run. It used to work well, but now when I try to edit a run, the "Route" variable doesn't show up anymore, so I can't edit it.

Hey ! If you start to play the game, your first timesave will be Knuckles. It's the biggest time save for every new runners, no exceptions. Practice a lot Knuckles, learn the pieces. Another advice, don't learn Crazy Gadget/Final Rush skips until at least sub 45. You'll kill your runs often to them, so it will be hard for you to PB. Also these levels are very interesting to play skipless, you'll improve your sonic movement a lot if you practice them, so skipping them is just not worth it.

The official leaderboard is now this one. However, the ressources (includes routes, list of glitches, and more) can still be found at bit.ly/SM63Leaderboard .

Personnally I prefer when Mushroom Cup, Flower Cup, Star Cup and Special Cup aren't misc categories. That's just my opinion though.
