This may sound like a dumb question: But how do you get this to work? I copied the file to the right location (and I dl the correct file). But when I start the game I don't see the overlay. I also am running in direct x 11.

Has anyone done a full pistol only run on standard with no shop items yet?

I also think the cap should be 60fps. And my PC can easily do 120fps but I know that not everyone's PC can.

You could always use Bandicam. It has a feature where you can set a custom recording window. I've never had trouble with lag.

@Rei_Leo The whole thing about Jill running faster is most likely just the fact that the PC version has far better fps than the PS1 version.

I have a question mainly aimed at the mods here: Is it okay if I post more RE3 runs than normal?

Because in the past few days I have been shaving my time down bit by bit and I am always excited to post them here. But I also don't want to waste time or upset mods by posting to much.

I can see that. Personally I just use index cards and study the shit out of them until I remember the solutions lol. I did this for Clock tower puzzle and Water Sample puzzle. I am however okay with glitches. Cause in most cases its not easy to do them. I forgot about the Nemesis virus battle glitch. But I don't know if any are worth doing in an any% run. I feel it would just waste time.

I personally don't have any puzzle solutions open while running. I feel it makes the run not valid. But all is good. I remembered the solutions via practicing with index cards. Got a 50:48 tonight. Gonna be posted here soon. :)

Thanks guys I found it. I know it sounds dumb but I never look for ink ribbons when doing runs lol.

Is there an ink ribbon there? I know were the save points are. The problem I have is remembering were the ribbons are. Thanks for replying btw.

Does anyone have (or know were I can find) a save just before the clock puzzle in the clocktower? Its the puzzle I still have a hard time with.

I know I missed the window to vote. But as someone who spent a couple months grinding for a good time I love the idea of using the GL tool. I had so so many resets from magnum it's insane. I can understand the opposite point of view but at the end of the day this tool doesnt take away from the difficulty or skill of RE3. I see the vote was in favor of allowing the tool. I hope to see it added either as it's own category or part of any%.
