You can do the 1st wave as fast as you want, but it doesn't matter anyway, since you'd have to wait until the day is finished and the elite mercs come.
TC% - Not really speedrunnable, 1st wave doesnt need to be speedrunned, cuz the 2nd wave matters, overall pretty pointless Corrupted% - Easily cheatable, RNG and just overall dumb af Witness% - Literally just record yourself getting witness on day 1 and you win Encounter% - Same thing
This would be pointless since u can just have 2 alts or friends follow you n stuff, and since this game doesnt even use milliseconds its just completely pointless
@callmekaleb don't worry, glad you understand!
It's usually just people who are new to speedrunning (RNG related + under 1 min speedrun = attractive to run)
I just had to reject 5 runs in a row for the exact same reason: "Spawn not shown + timer starts when you start walking, not when you jump off. Please read the rules and maybe watch some top runs."
Please read the rules and maybe watch some top runs, I hope that'll help you understand. Thank you!
Wait can't I lock this thread so nobody can talk here
Let's not have this kind of discussion on a sr.c forum thread ^_^
I still notice that alot of runners (not just one, quite a few) forget to show their respawn. You must show your respawn so we know you didn't cheat the timing and so we can accurately time your run. Thank you!
@HypedXP - If you die on Any%, you just respawn and try again, keep in mind that timer starts when you start walking.
- @The_Rare_Ocelot - No, if you move after respawning, the timer starts (being pushed, walking, becoming airborne etc.)
Rules have now been fixed. Multiple rules have been made more clear:
- The use of FPS Unlockers or anything similar is banned.
- You are not allowed to be pushed by anyone else (this counts as first movement from spawn)
- Any use of pause buffering or lag switching is not allowed (counts mainly towards Any%, as it is possible to survive a car)
- Some stricter main rule changes
This hopefully clears up more for you runners, especially the new runners.
Bruh lol you can just ask them to organize it
Breaking the IGT timer is not allowed, as the runs are being timed with that and the timer is being used to submit runs on the leaderboards. As Steve said, it's indeed very considerate that you asked.
To everyone who has trouble understanding when to starts timers, how to time, etc. AND people who just started speedrunning, please check out the new guide. Thank you!
