Hi everyone!

Midwest Speedfest 2019 is an on-site marathon taking place August 23-25 at 2D Con. The convention will be at the Hyatt Regency, with its address being Hyatt Regency Minneapolis 1300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55403.

The charity the marathon will be fundraising for is AbleGamers. AbleGamers provides controllers for people with a variety of disabilities. To learn more about them, visit their website here: https://ablegamers.org/

Run submissions open February 25, and go until July 20 at 11:59pm. Three things to note if you plan on submitting. 1. If you plan on submitting as an on-site runner, you will need to register for the convention here: https://www.2dcon.net/product/2019registration/ 2. The marathon will be a 24 hour one, so make sure you note that for you availability. 3. You will need to bring everything you need to do the run. Please bring your console, game, AV cables, and controller. We will provide a CRT / Monitor to play on and capture equipment.

Project Fundraising OniLink Edition is an online marathon taking place from April 5-7 and fundraising to assist OniLink86 with his medical bills. You can submit up to 5 runs and submissions will be closed on March 20. The schedule will be out shortly after submissions close. Project Fundraising Info and Cause: Project Fundraising - or PJFR for short - is an online marathon full of speedruns that raises money for people in the speedrun community, be it viewer or runner, who are in financial need such as medical bills, medicine, job lost, home lost etc.

PJFR OniLink Edition is the fifth marathon in the PJFR marathon series and is fundraising for OniLink86. Recently he was affected by a sudden case of disabling vertigo and has been unable to work as a result of it. His doctors don't fully understand why he is experiencing this illness. Additionally, he needed to have his gallbladder removed due to a case of gallstones. These medical costs have put a burden on him and his fiance. By submitting runs and donating, you will help OniLink pay for medical bills and assist with living expenses.

Super Sony Speed is an online marathon taking place March 15-17. It is a marathon celebrating Playstation games and only games that have been released on any generation Playstation console can be submitted. Although your run does not have to be done on a Playstation, but can be on a different console if desired.

This marathon will be fundraising for Water.org, which provides safe and sustainable drinking water to impoverished communities in need of it. Water.org is a highly rated and trusted charity that has helped millions, so your donations will go toward a great cause.
