That's great to hear that there aren't any major differences for the speedrun since this game is super pricy online. I'd like to buy the Japanese version since it's the "cheapest" of the versions. Thanks! I'll be on the lookout

Found out that you can do the infinite jump on mostly every floating/moving platform that has corners that you can grab... Alright.
Thought I found a way to skip a whole world entirely, Steven's Island, by ringing the school bell earlier than you're supposed to (which is what you need to do to free Steven), but the option for you to free Steven is when after you get him to make a paper airplane for you. (I should mention that I did this on a savestate where Steven was already saved, but I tried it after with one where he is there, and it still didn't work)
I've still been messing around with the game, but it is honestly god awful. There is potential in a lot of places, but I don't think anyone would want to go through the pain I had to deal with in this game. It has it's charm with the characters, designs, atmosphere, and voice acting... but the actual gameplay is so horrible. I would only recommend this game if you were to glitch hunt and not really focus on the actual game. I wouldn't be surprised if any of you drop it since I did at first. The way jumping works in this game is a mess. If you just barely do a coyote jump, you'll get no distance and sometimes going onto a ledge or even trying to grab one, is impossible. Parts where the game has a main focus on tight jumps is super frustrating. Might I mention that the way to save in this game is like Resident Evil. You found camera's as collectables and you need to find Wilbur, an NPC in many areas that will take your camera to save your game. You can also save your game going into new areas of the game where it'll ask you if you'd like to save. The maps are really confusing as well. All of it looks the same with these big areas you can explore, and telling where to go and what to do sometimes can be really confusing. Sorry for the ramble, but It's just an awful game I could go on about lol
I've tried to get the PC version to work, but it doesn't work with my PC unfortunately. I've tried many ways and have also tried the very expensive DC port (which is what I initially started with), but through the emulator there were many bugs with it making it unplayable. Most of the areas went completely transparent and you couldn't traverse at all. If I were to make categories for each version, it'd be PS2 and PC, while making the DC version miscellaneous (since it's just the PC version and that version does have differences from the PS2 version).
There are quite a few more different ways to do them, like with the air balloons, and other buttons in Flyer City. When doing the moon jumps, Cyprien can go at rapid speeds after only a couple of jumps, making it impossible to go anywhere and not jumping for a second makes you lose all your height so you can't time them either. But once Cyprien starts rising up in the air, there's no going back really. The camera can't even keep up with it (even though the camera for this game is very bad).
There was also this other time where I got two different infinite jumps. One was when I was working with a way to skip a section of the level (which I do), but I somehow get myself into a situation where I get infinite height? And trust me, it feels impossible to control. This was my first time experiencing the moon jumps.
And then the other one is just like the last one. I don't know how these work, but if figuring out where to do these glitches in particular would be amazing. Just off of a random slope when I was messing around, I found myself able to do more moon jumps.
There's also another way of doing this and it's when you talk to an NPC. This is the only one I've ever gotten it to work on, but using the talk button and slighshot button at the same time will put your character in a way where you can still control them during the cutscene. You can't move your character, but you can only use action buttons like the slingshot and the jump button. It's very easy to do as well.
I found a way accidentally when playing the game casually that you can get infinite height from jumping while in a cutscene. It has to be while you are in a "skrrt" state where you either stop moving or turning around, making your character have to steer their legs. If you go into a cutscene like with this video, a button, if you do that and jump at the right time. You can get stuff like this.
Started playing this obscure platformer from 2001 on a PS2 emulator and could already tell it was very buggy. I've found some glitches already and I want to share it. I hope to find more glitches the more I play this, but hope other people can look into this not very good game with me. Hopefully making it into a speedgame.
