I'm putting this here to see if anyone wants to try this out for themselves. I have tried for hours to get behind the second barricade. It would be really nice because this is one of my most hated levels.

I have found it before you ah ah ! But as you may have seen jumping the first barricade avoid the placing of a charge, that triggers not the possibility to place the second charge. You say : "Anyway, I can jump the second barricade". But no, it's impossible, because of a huge caulk wall blocking the acces. Useing the "fly" cheat you can see how high and large is the wall, and that there is no way (jumping on the crates, jumping on the right side to cross the gap....).

Plus, the providencial floor you see on the right is non solid, and there is yet another caulk wall blocking it. And also, you won't be able to place the charge on the pillar, forbidding all acces to the exit.

The only (poor) thing that it allows is to assign a clone to the placing of the charge while you climb the barricade (the jump is difficult by the way), so to trigger the explosion being a little ahead.

I hate this part so much though. Why????? Rip the Dream.

My thoughts too, but cmon, you have already destroyed Live Ordance which is far more painful. And running this game can't be interesting if it only consists in oobing all the way through

I guess so. I just really hate the elites in this game.

the "quicksave barrels" tactics can be applied on this lvl

steps :

1. avoid geonosian foes
2. shot the sonic geo turret away, by simply sniping or blasting it
3. get on the edge of that crate, just to get the marks
4. blast the top of the barrel to elevate it (idk why, but anyway) (we'll try not to hurt the barrel to much because it can disappear once its hp reach 0)
5. throw precisely 2 grenades there and there
6. carefully quicksave the barrel
7. land on top of it with difficulty
8. skip the barricade

This skip is very hard to make, and I'm not sure about the time gain [EDIT : i did the lvl in 1:35, better than 1:50 in the past segmented run] I can't imagine it in a live run, with the surrounding enemies moreover. This lvl is pretty dense, squad orders + aiming + jumps + dodging elitebeams + throwing grenades + quicksaving, everything in little time, it's complicated...

but so you know it's possible, and surely it is improvable.

After lot of time lose on this skip, i have found an easy way to throw grenade with 99% chance of succes !
