Why is 3D World 100% a category extension instead of the mainboard I just do not get it ?

Because 380 stars is a better category honestly.

The difference would be also 100%ing the final world with all the collectibles, and doing every stage at least twice and juggling 4 joycons to finish every stage with every character. That's a bit menotnous. I'm up for it on the main boards, or misc, but I don't think anyone would run that seriously.

Chung it has three runners and is basically just complete 380 twice whilst using 4 controllers where possible at flagpoles

as bad as it may be, 100% is still 100% and definelty has its spot on main board over some other categories.
